Gavin

‘For me I was always really skinny through high school, never to a serious extent but I’d just eat whatever I wanted and not put on weight. A lot of friends would joke about how I was skinny and call me lanky, as is normal when you’re a teen but it never bothered me. But coming to uni and continuing to have a pretty bad diet whilst staying slim has made me realise your appearance doesn’t necessarily represent your health. A lot of the time I felt quite lethargic and lacked energy, even though I looked perfectly healthy. Recently I’ve been trying to maintain a more balanced diet and keep up my energy and physical activity. It just goes to show you may look fine but not be leading as healthy a lifestyle as you think.’
