The Health Diary seeks to re-define what modern day society deems as healthy. I aim to capture the lives of family and friends and their views of healthiness and by doing so, show that the meaning of health to each individual varies. By exploring alternative perceptions of health, it can be insightful for your own wellbeing.

About The Health Diary

A Collaborative Platform 

The Health Diary offers a method by which we can encourage people to speak about mental health and subsequently de-stigmatise it, by offering various perceptions of health written by normal people. Therefore I'm also seeking to deviate from the harmful messages that are fed to us by fitness gurus and food experts on social media about what we should do to be healthy. Our health is a personal concept which is intrinsic to how we feel about ourselves - so we should make it something positive, loving and worth celebrating.

Hi! So it has come to my attention that some people would like to contribute to The Health Diary’ and submit an entry without wanting to disclose who they are. I acknowledge that sharing personal feelings towards healthiness can be intimidating and quite daunting to share with the world.

Therefore, I wanted to make it possible to share thoughts anonymously. I have created a Google Form (link below) which will allow you to submit an entry and I, nor anyone else will not know who you are. There is a description on the form to ensure you’re comfortable with whatever you’re sharing before you send it.

Thank you so much again for all the support and kindness. The contributions thus far have been so incredible and moving. I hope it continues.
